Condenser Coil: The condenser coil at the back of the refrigerator should be cleaned frequently for better performance. These coils are often accumulated with grime, dust and dirt. These coils need to be cleaned once in a month. No damages should be caused to the coils while cleaning them.

Seals: It is also important to check the seals of the refrigerators to ensure that there are no leakages. The doors of the refrigerator should be closed tightly to avoid any seepage of air. It is also important to store cold storage units away from the walls which are affected by direct sunlight.
